An Inspiring life of a gay son's mother & All the moving stories of gay love

http://wyj3sj.blog.163.com/
I am so glad that I came across her blog today. So many moving and inspiring stories. Her life attitude is wonderful and healthy. No wonder she looks so damn young. There is one story in her blog that tells a 41-year-old gay man with his 50-year-old partner who had been in relationship for 14 years! That story made my day, it also prompted me to think my own prospective relationship and what kind of man I should choose as my partner.

UCLA student racist rant & All the funny REMIX~

In March 2011, UCLA  junior Alexandra Wallace posted a racist video against Asian Americans. This video quickly went viral, becoming the most viewed video on YouTube for several days.

The following catchy remix is my favorite one :)  I love the catchy beat!

I also love this tsunami remix! I can party with it! Electro House Remix

A memorable talk with a cool father and his tall son

Today, Saturday, about 1pm, I went out to pick up my Chinese food takeout, and on my way back to dorm, accidentally I was stopped and asked by a father of a incoming freshman how I liked about Trinity. they are from san diego and both of them seemed to be polite, nice and open minded, unlike many people here i see in Connecticut. the student is tall, the father looks brown, he wore a hat, a lether jacket, and he said he originally came from Pakistan and married a white woman with red hair. the son looks completely white. he has beard around his jaw. his round eyes make him look innocent. kind of a handsome guy (half white, half middle eastern, oh man...).  the father seemed strict, as he pushed the son to exchange our contact information and also asked my email address.,"Hey, you, you should get his phone number!"  i guess he must place great emphasis on education  because he asked me about academic information of trinity and accompanied his son to visit all 3 college that the son got into. he told me he went to med school and is now a doctor. The father used to be an international student, like  me, graduated from trinity in the 70's, he said being a frat brother back then, he didn't study hard until very last minute, but he went to med school (he mentioned going to Harvard for training), and became a citizen of USA.  i told them about my experience at trinity, and felt that i wasted 2 years here. i told them i don't like the social scenes here, also told them my academics hasn't been good. the father told me it's hard for new foreigners at first, but later many will be fine. said he enjoyed his time at trinity and he was a frat brother. he met a girl at trinity and had a relationship for 9 year. i kind of feel sad about the fact that i didn't do well in these 2 years, and after the talk, when i got back to room, i kinda felt like, wtf? why was i affected by trin trin brats? why "should" I even be affected by them? maybe it's time to pull myself together and be myself that i used to be. The fact that both of them seems open minded, nice California residents  made me delighted because at least not all Americans are like preppy new englanders. at least some people here today i met from California are nice people. in my room i search his phone number and it turned out that they are from extremely affluent town called La Jolla in san diego county. and i was like. wow.  the rich people didn't show their richness at all, but presented me with their niceness. I wanna visit CA and live there!  People of CA and houses of CA give me a unique feeling which is different from what I get in New England. The fact that the old Pakistani student now becomes a rich doctor living in a rich town made me think, wonder and rethink my life. That my little crush on his handsome son made me recall our conversation even more. but anyway, today's talk, very much like a vocal self review of my wasted 2 years, prompted me to write a blog, review my past 2 years, and think about what i need to do now. The confident, talkative, cool Pakistani father served as a model image of a immigrant realizing his American dream. I, just like him 40 years ago, is now pursuing my American dream. And I definitely need to work harder and prepare for future, and not be affected by trinity's preppy environment anymore.
