I do believe i'm smart

I do believe it/ it's just that for metrics, there are gaps that hinder me. my path is nothing like other candiadtes in the program. but i always urprise myself how fast i learn.

for example, in the case to learn how to add live feed in my blog profile, i mastered in in 30 min while a lot of people who asked online did not get to add live feed to their blogs.

So, trust yourself, take your time to learn, metrics is not Xingfei. Metrics is fun subject, Xingfei is a horrible teacher. You learn the topic, not him. so just stay your cool and carry on. If you fret about his slide, then you lose :)

it's ok. see? you have read and studied the intro econometrics for only two days, and now you at least can understand what's going on in the econ 599 advanced book. so it worked! even though there are a lot more estimation materials that the intro book didn't cover. but at least you are much less confused than when encountering it for the first time.

So, keep going! don't get upset! if you stop, you will for sure learn nothing! he doesn't test on everything, so don't fret if you can't understand every single details. just learn the majority.
